BSG – Business Support Group

Business Support Group (BSGs) are basically extended business teams, based in India that provides support to Medline’s global offices around diverse business areas such as Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory & Quality Affairs, MDM, Customer Services, Divisional Support, Custom & trade Compliance, PMO & HR. Business Support Group originated in India in July 2013.

BSG India works in collaboration with Medline’s global office to ensure business continuity by providing support in India business hours. This support includes:

  • Dedicated Customer Service to Medline’s International accounts.
  • Direct collaboration with Medline’s Sales representatives & Customer accounts.
  • Active contribution around global projects/assignments.
  • Engaging with Warehouses & Supply Chain teams to ensure Customer satisfaction.
  • Working closely with Product Divisions around divisional requirements.
  • Preparation of technical files (CE markings) for new product (Medical device) introduction.
  • Working with global supplier’s for performing quality audits, packaging validating etc.
  • Managing the imports with Customs across Medline’s International Warehouses.
  • Governance and maintenance of Master Data.
  • Providing operational support to Medline's internal applications and services.
  • Actively redesigning business processes and implementing changes to improve critical aspects.
  • Assisting sales by providing support with pricing, contract maintenance, operations and rebate functions
